Our Parish Council consists of Father Plante in his capacity as pastor, twelve elected members who serve for two year terms, and two trustees who serve as ex officio members. This mix assures a progressive continuity of advisors for the parish by always welcoming new members while relying on the wisdom and experience of past members. The council meets once per month to consider the needs, ideas and desires of the people of the parish as well as to review the goals and recommendations of the entire community of faith. They do this with genuine concern for parishioners spiritual and apostolic development. The Council works in conjunction with all the standing committees to accomplish common objectives. Current standing committees include Liturgical Decor, Faith Formation, Parish Activities, Property and Maintenance, Youth, and Christian Action. In addition to standing committees, ad hoc committees are sometimes established to address specific needs of the parish.
The Parish Council provides a wonderful opportunity to share your vision of our future and to provide ongoing support for the work God has entrusted to each of us. All the council meetings are open and any interested parishioner is encouraged to attend.
Meetings: Third Thursday of each month, except during the summer.
